How Does the OViVO Work?
You access the OViVO via a unique device that connects easily to both the TV set and home network, paired with an modern remote. Once the OViVO Device is connected, a setup wizard automatically starts and guides you through the activation process. After that, you simply turn on the TV set, choose your programming and select whether you want to watch free ad-supported programming, rent the program, or buy it.

Will the OViVO Interfere with Other Internet Activities?
It depends on the speed of your Internet connection and the types of Internet activities. If you just meet the minimum speed requirement of 0.5 megabits per second (Mbps), low-bandwidth activities like email and Web browsing shouldn’t be affected.

What If I Don’t Want to Watch Any Commercials?
OViVO shifts control of TV advertising to you, the viewer. If you choose not to see any ads - they will be removed from all of the programs and even from the User Interface.

Will OViVO Have More Commercials Than a Typical Broadcast or Cable Network?
No. If you choose to watch a program for free, you’ll spend less time watching advertisements than you would for similar ad-supported programming on a broadcast or cable network.

Do I Need Any Special Equipment to Use OViVO?
You need a TV and a home network with a broadband connection to the Internet that is 0,5 megabits per second or higher. The OViVO can connect to a TV using a S-Video or HDMI cable. If you have an older TV that doesn’t have those connector types, you can buy an inexpensive adapter that lets you connect a composite cable. If you have a broadband Internet connection, but no home network, you’ll need to buy a router that lets you share that connection between multiple devices.

Yes, OViVO has got an HDD, which allows it to reduce the pressure on the network and enables the user to utilize the service even while the Internet is temporarily down.

What Internet Connection Speed is Required to Receive the OViVO?
The current minimum speed for your Internet connection is 0.5 megabits per second (Mbps). To sign up for OViVO, we provide a bandwidth speed test that ensures your Internet connection is fast enough to support the service. If your Internet connection is not fast enough, check with your Internet service provider (ISP) to see about upgrading your service.
